:: Covered field in large scale serrated leaves, scrolled tendrils and blossoms, palmettes germinating throughout. Main border in wide arabesques and simplistic germinating buds. Abrashes across. Colors and shades include: Dusty denim blue, slate blue, powder blue, lime green, jade green, dusty emerald green, burgundy wine red, oxidized silver and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Possibly a period correct painted rug performed post production and close to time of import, applied to one or two shades. Multiple areas of professional restoration with professional mending in the middle. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mehreban rug runner made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 2'8" x 17'1".
