Overview:

This is a vintage Moroccan boucherouite rug that has a sky blue, navy, and white base underneath an abstract, rounded diamond shapes in yellow, teal, and navy. Technically it's a handknotted rug, but the cotton fiber has worn down over time, giving it the feel of a flatweave rug. Since this is a lighter rug, we recommend getting a rug pad with this piece to help anchor it in place and add a little cushioned feel underfoot. Because this rug is made with cotton, it's slightly easier to clean than wool rugs, which makes it a great rug for a kitchen, bathroom, or for the kids' rooms/nursery.
