Designed for Brooks Athletes running the historic Western States 100 course. The Women's Brooks Catamount is designed to protect runners on rocky trails and roots while remaining responsive on smooth terrain.

The Brooks TrailTack rubber outsole provides sticky traction on technical rocky, rooty and muddy trails. The 3mm lug depth allows runner a smooth transition onto smoother trail running surfaces.
· Ballistic Rock Shield
Situated between the DNA Flash midsole and TrailTack rubber outsole the Ballistic Rock Shield offers terrific protection from the mid foot through the forefoot. Runners on rocky terrain will be offered a terrific protection without losing ground feel and responsiveness.
· DNA Flash Midsole
The midsole of Women's Brooks Catamount is made of Brooks proprietary DNA Flash foam. A nitrogen infused foam the Catamount ultra-light, responsive while remaining cushioned throughout trail races up to 100 miles.
